STORM WATER
A stormwater drainage system includes roof downpipes and surface grates, linked to a network of suspended or underground pipes that channel water from your roof and property to the council’s street curb or barrel drain infrastructure.
SEWER
Your sewer drainage system is responsible for carrying away all human waste and greywater from your premises.
This waste comes from fixtures like toilets, sinks, showers, washing machines, and other household or commercial fittings.
Again, this is all connected via a series of suspended drains or below ground property drainage pipes that transport the waste from the fixtures in your house to the council’s city’s sewage asset system.
It is to be noted that sewage and storm water systems are not combined and are separate services from your property that discharge to separate council services.
